This one-inch-wide sandcast Sterling bracelet features an intricate hand-carved pattern of rising suns and mountain peaks, with matching motifs carved on the interior. Known as the Sunrise and Kiva Steps design, each piece showcases Gilbert "Dino" Garcia's signature technique: blackening the mold with acetylene torch smoke before pouring molten silver, creating a striking contrast between shiny raised elements and deep blackened details in the carved recesses.
